How and why did you start making music?
My dad played the guitar a lot when I was little.
How and why did you end up at recordJet?
My label, Lichtdicht Records, chose the collaboration.

You are very active in the music industry. What are the biggest fault and the greatest thing (in your opinion) about the music industry today?
That people believe music should be free, and that everybody with a laptop can become famous.
Have you ever written a song you aren’t proud of anymore? Which one?
No, I love all my music.
Who are your heroes and why?
My parents, because they fulfilled all their dreams.
What is your best tip for young, talented and unknown artists?
Always keep going.
What was the first and most recent album you bought?
MJ – They Don’t Care About Us, and the James Gillespie EP!
If you had the real recordJet at your disposal for one day, where would you go, and why?
To the Sahara to watch lions.
– Optional: Tell us your favourite joke
Why do ants not go to church? They are in sects.

Thank you recordJet and Lichtdicht Records! :) Best, James
