At the end of 2015, German female Hiphop-Duo \u201eSXTN\u201c released their first video called \u201eDeine Mutter\u201c (\u201eYour Mother\u201c). Instantaneously it got people talking, but\u00a0opinions were divided: Are women\u00a0allowed to talk like that? With explicit content so harsh, so direct? Male hiphop acts are doing it every day\u2026 but females??<\/p>\n

SXTN, consisting of Berlin-based rappers Nura and Juju, simply don\u2019t give a f\u2026 ! They’ll say what they want to say, and if it\u2019s vulgar, if it\u2019s explicit, who cares\u2026 They\u2019re confident enough to say it, as long as it\u2019s honest and direct and befitting the hard, trap-inspired beats flowing under their tracks.<\/p>\n

Right in line with the video \u201eDeine Mutter\u201c, but more than simply provocative, SXTN has released their first EP titled \u201eAsozialisierungsprogramm\u201c (“asocialisation program\u201c) on April 15, 2016. They have signed with the No. 1 booking agency for German Hiphop (Four Artists) and will be playing festivals and live gigs all through the summer, ending in their own first headline tour \u201eFTZN IM CLB” in September.<\/p>\n
