Johannes, Patrick and Paul together make Nuremberg\u2019s new indie rock band, Figure Beach<\/strong>. The three friends have known each other since they were young and have each carved their own separate careers in music. They came together to form Figure Beach in 2021 and their musical roots and interests have influenced their debut EP that will come out early in 2022.<\/p>\n

All of their songs have a certain ease and catchiness and outline the direction the band wants to go in: a retro-modern, easy listening, yet somehow edgy sound. Their multi-layered indie rock has no frills and yet is replete with catchy melodies.<\/p>\n

\"figure<\/p>\n

Their first release garnered interest from bedroomdisco, Picky Magazine, untoldency and many more. The band has also been included in a number of Store play lists, such as Indie Brandneu (Spotify), Fresh Finds GSA (Spotify), New Music Daily (Apple Music) and Breakthrough Indie (Amazon Music) among others. The band has also had radio success with countless plays on British university radio and more than 100 plays on Amazing Radio.<\/p>\n

The group has a classic rock setup of drums, bass and two guitars. Mellow and intimate chords, a punchy bass and riffs that are sometimes reverberant and surf-like and sometimes screeching and snappy form the basis of their songs. The vocals do the rest and convey catchy melodies and themes that you will easily relate to. The end result is music that is both simple and effective and that you can connect with quickly.<\/p>\n
