It’s that time again: the Wrapped Season<\/a> is once more upon us. And so that you don’t miss out on the fun, we want to remind you how to bring your fans a little joy by putting a clip on Spotify Wrapped. This is a unique opportunity for you as an artist to reach your fans directly in a personal, authentic and approachable way.<\/p>\n

Wrapped 2025: more than numbers \u2013 direct fan interactions<\/h3>\n

Spotify Wrapped itself is not a new feature. You\u2019ve heard of it. You know it. We tell you about it every year. But last year an exciting feature was introduced that makes the Wrapped experience even more personal: Artist Messages. These messages allow you to speak to your listeners directly with a short, self-recorded clip. See the Spotify for Artists page<\/a> for famous examples and explanations of exactly how to get the thank you video done.<\/p>\n

And in 2025, the whole thing will step up a level: your video message will appear right in your fans’ Wrapped experience \u2013 personalised for those who have you as one of their top artists. It will appear not only in their Wrapped video feed, but also in their Wrapped data story.<\/p>\n

Last year, according to Spotify, over 18,000 artists uploaded their clips, reaching hundreds of millions of fans worldwide. The result: more than 500 million messages. The number of song Saves tripled in 2024 compared to 2023. Gen Z<\/a> was particularly active: they provided half of all views and nearly 60% of the Saves.<\/p>\n
