She\u2019s one of those artists who never had to try<\/em> to sound real \u2013 she simply always was. Born in Pakistan and raised in Berlin-Kreuzberg, she describes the move as a cultural shock.<\/p>\n

In a time when many artists fight for attention, Wa22ermann stays cool \u2013 and chooses to tell stories instead. Her<\/em> stories. From Kreuzberg to Karachi, from salsa to soul-searching, from viral sketches to festival stages. No wonder she\u2019s our Artist of the Month. Because Wa22ermann represents more than just the next TikTok hit \u2013 she stands for purpose, vision, and change.<\/p>\n

\"AotM<\/p>\n

Between Two Worlds \u2013 and Entirely Herself<\/h3>\n

Wa22ermann was born in Pakistan and moved to Berlin at the age of nine \u2013 a defining break in her personal story. Navigating between languages, cultures, and perspectives, she developed a sharp sense for what it means to be an outsider \u2013 and for the power of expression. Music quickly became her tool, her voice, her identity. Her songs gracefully balance sensitivity and self-confidence, blending the softer side of rap with the strength of a woman who knows where she\u2019s headed \u2013 even if she\u2019s still on the way.<\/p>\n

Lockdown, TikTok \u2013 From Rough Sketches to a Major Deal<\/h3>\n

2020 \u2013 the world on pause, everything quiet. But while many were just getting through lockdown, Wa22ermann wrote her first song. She posted short clips on TikTok and Instagram \u2013 and they hit. Producers took notice, studio sessions followed. Her track \u201cSalsa\u201d made waves and officially dropped in 2021. Not a loud, hype-heavy song \u2013 but one full of personality. In 2022, she signed with Four Music. One thing was clear: Wa22ermann wasn\u2019t just playing around. She was in it for real.<\/p>\n

From Splash! to Symphony<\/h3>\n

Think Wa22ermann belongs only in clubs or on TikTok? Think again. In 2023, she hit the stage at the Splash! Festival and later joined the Cosmo Machiavelli Sessions alongside Bounty & Cocoa, Eli Preiss, and Babyjoy. Oh, and yes \u2013 she even performed with the WDR Funkhausorchester.<\/p>\n

Her sound? A blend of neo-R&B, Gen Z rap, and that unsearchable vibe you can only feel.<\/p>\n

07:30 & 22:22 \u2013 Two EPs, One Statement<\/h3>\n

With \u201c07:30,\u201d their first EP, released in February 2023 by Sony Music, Wa22ermann makes it clear: this is no coincidence. It is the start of an artistic journey that is consistent, emotional, and at the same time stylistically open. Just one year later, the EP \u201c22:22\u201d follows \u2013 a further development, a manifesto, a musical mirror of herself. Both projects not only mark milestones \u2013 they open doors: to tours, stages, new audiences.
\nThe stage belongs to her \u2013 and she knows it.
\nWith a full festival and live calendar behind her, Wa22ermann has proven herself on almost all the major stages in the country in recent years \u2013 not as a stopgap, but as a genuine performer with attitude, charisma, and audience contact. Her songs sound different live \u2013 more vulnerable, stronger, more direct. You can feel it: here is someone who knows how to touch people. And how to silence an entire tent with beats \u2013 or make it dance.<\/p>\n

2025 will be the year in which Wa22ermann takes the next step \u2013 both musically and artistically. She is working on new projects, refining her language, and consolidating her position as one of the most exciting voices on the German scene.
