Our Artist of the Month for July: 6euroneunzig
A mix of rap, techno and feminist power
Our AotM in the month of July is 6euroneunzig, a rap duo made of Kat and Nina from Berlin. The two women and rappers are both in their mid-20s and met each other at a rather special place – namely the renowned “Konrad Wolf” acting school in Potsdam – and ended up in the third round of casting before making music together.
Small spoiler: neither ended up at the acting school. Kat has recently become a mum and now lives in the countryside. She says she is tough, self-confident, and loves to break through masculine clichés. Nina is still in Berlin. She works in an office, does kickboxing and loves deep conversations.
Sound & message: techno, rap & feminist power
Musically, 6euroneunzig merges elements of rap, techno-trash and new wave. Their sound is raw, energetic and has driving beats. Their lyrics deal loudly with sexism, sexualised violence and social taboos. Their message:
Be loud! Don’t settle for anything!
It is about empowerment, self-expression and the breaking of conventions – music as a manifesto for freedom and equality.
Milestones & releases
The duo released their debut single “BADBITCH” in May 2023. Their viral hit “Zur Party”, garnered a great deal of attention for them. Other strong tracks such as “Alk & Liebe”, from August 2024, tackle hedonism and feminist empowerment. Also in 2024, they produced the music video for the song “Auto”. Again, the feeling was defiant, ironic and politically pointed. Since then, they have regularly released music. In 2025, they showed exactly what they had in store with their preliminary single “Tittentraining” from their first EP. That EP, “Slutalarm”, was released on 20/06. This EP has a total of six songs, which are called, among others: “Tittentraining”, “Summer”, “Sex”, “Strippen” and “No Rizz No Fun”. They are also releasing a new merch collection.
Live & stage presence
Their live shows are growing exponentially. 6euroneunzig are a popular live duo due to their rousing energy and proximity to the audience. Their appearance in Bern in August 2024 was a highlight. They played at the Campus Festival Konstanz (May 2025) and at the Nuremberg Pop Festival (October 2024) – always loud, polarising and empowering. And there are still more plans for this year. For example, fans can marvel at them several times at this year’s Reeperbahn Festival.
Outlook for 2025
6euroneunzig are the perfect example of vocal feminist rap, paired with danceable techno and new wave. They break taboos, promote equality and celebrate self-empowerment – all without losing their party mood. An inspiring duo from the Berlin scene, who still have plenty more to achieve.
