FLINTA* Music Force Showcase 2025: recordJet is bringing powerful FLINTA* acts to the stage of the Reeperbahn Festival
Together with Music Women* Germany, we are giving away a slot at the FLINTA* showcase at the Reeperbahn Festival 2025. The female power group 6euroneunzig is already confirmed!
Empowerment, visibility and a great deal of music power: on 17.09.2025, recordJet’s FLINTA* Music Force Showcase is celebrating its second edition, right in the middle of the Reeperbahn Festival at the Schmidtchen Theatre on Spielbudenplatz.
In order to create even more transparency and visibility for FLINTA* artists, we have teamed up with Music Women* Germany, whose expertise and know-how we trust very much. Together with Music Women* Germany, we are looking for another act for this year’s line-up. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a solo artist, duo or band – the main thing is you are FLINTA*, brave and ready for the stage! Maybe just the thing for you?
Clear the stage for FLINTA*: the Music Force Showcase is ready to go again
At last year’s Reeperbahn Festival we hosted our own showcase for the first time – the FLINTA*Music Force showcase – and what can we say?! It was a complete success! With a great line-up at the Mojo Jazz Café, we opened the stage for four impressive artists. Taby Pilgrim opened the evening back then. Once a voice-over artist and now a rapper with the depth and sensitivity of a songwriter, she lit up the stage. FLOSS subsequently took over with a rousing performance that was somewhere between dazzling pop and thoughtful storytelling – arty pop at its best. Bush.ida brought energy and attitude to the stage. Her music combined hard trap beats with clever, powerful lyrics – rap with attitude and grit. MODULAR rounded off the evening with machine-like sounds, physical bass and an electrifying live presence.
After the successful debut in 2024, we at recordJet will once again bring a stage full of power, diversity and attitude to the Reeperbahn Festival in 2025. This year, we chose the Schmidtchen Theatre as a venue for creative freedom and diversity and even more space for guests. The aim of the FLINTA* Music Force Showcase is for us at recordJet to create targeted visibility for FLINTA* artists – i.e. for females, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans, agenders and other genderqueer people – and we want to send a strong signal against structural inequalities in the music industry.
The line-up is already confirmed…almost! Only one spot is missing…
We have already put together a great line-up. Among them are 6euroneunzig. 6euroneunzig combines techno, rap and feminist power. Musically, 6euroneunzig merges elements of rap, techno-trash and new wave. Their sound is raw, energetic and has driving beats. Their lyrics deal loudly with sexism, sexualised violence and social taboos. But we are still missing one act. Apply now: open call for FLINTA* artists
Apply now
The application window opens on 08 July 2025 and closes on 20 July. Then, in cooperation with Music Women* Germany, we will select the act that will take the final slot on the showcase. The announcement will be made shortly afterwards so that there is enough time for preparation and promotion. The winners will be notified by us in early August and announced when we announce our final line-up! To apply, click here.
Attitude meets music: more than just a concert
Even though FLINTA* artists are more visible today than they were a few years ago, they are still clearly under-represented on festival stages, in management positions and in the media.
recordJet launched the FLINTA* Music Force Showcase 2024 to make a start on correcting that: with concrete visibility, fair representation and real support. The showcase stands not only for good music, but also for a clear position: diversity and equal opportunities are not trends, but necessities. In particular in politically and socially tense times, recordJet wants to stay loud and visible with the FLINTA* Music Force Showcase – and give FLINTA* artists the place they deserve.
