Tencent – new store at recordJet
Now available for all passengers: Tencent
No limits for you and your music? From now on (April 2021), you can deliver your releases to Tencent as well. You can now add the new stores yourself – How to deliver your previous releases to Tencent and any new stores in the future:
Go to “My account” and “Profile details”. Here you can select the feature “Deliver to new stores automatically” by clicking “Yes”. This guarantees that all your releases will be delivered automatically to new stores, without you having to do anything manually again in the future. If you enable this feature by June 01, 2021, we will automatically deliver your releases to Tencent as well.
You can also decide per release, if new stores should be added automatically. Here you can find out how to do so. Your previously selected stores can be found under “My Music” > click on the release > “Stores”.
What is Tencent?
Tencent is the largest Chinese internet company and one of the largest companies in the world. Together with Spotify it develops streaming offers for the Chinese market.
Tencent Music has a streaming market share of over 50% in China and as well as being a music streaming service, it is also a video platform, karaoke and live streaming provider and social media and messenger platform. Tencent Music includes the following apps: QQ Music, Kugou, Kuwo, WeSing and Ultimate Music. QQ Music is one of the three Chinese freemium music streaming services. QQ Music has a total of over 800 million users.
