recordJet has a new partner to help with promotion
Promotion is everything! Okay, maybe not everything, but promo is super important for getting your music to an audience. Goes without saying, doesn’t it? How you tackle it, however, it is not always so clear. How do you get featured in blogs, how do you get contacted for a video première? Our partners from the world of promotion can help you with these and many other questions. From January 2021, we are offering further cooperation for print and online promotion in the field of rock, pop and related genres: Bite it Promotion.
Bite It Promotion – an agency for sharing information was founded in 2017 by Gregor Samsa. Gregor has managed the label Sounds of Subterrania since 1998 and is a perhaps best known for his elaborate special vinyl editions. Album covers made of rusty steel, plastic, wood, denim or concrete, a coffin with an outline of the artist, a club out of Lego, there is nothing that the “godfather of special vinyl record packaging” can’t do.
Änne Wetzel, head of PR, is an experienced promoter who has worked in the music industry since 2010 and as a promoter since 2012. Her clients include, among others, bands and artists such as Helloween, Gotthard, Tarja Turunen, Turbobier and Babymetal.
Bite It Promotion sees itself as an agency that combines heart and mind. They believe that music can be communication and interaction. The relationships that form in music are what interest Bite It. This is their starting point for designing and re-telling ideas and visions together with the artist.
For Bite It, the artists and their work are at the forefront. They roll their sleeves up – and yes, they really get their teeth into their work and don’t let go easily.
I am thoroughly looking forward to working with recordJet. Since the very beginning of Bite It, recordJet has been my recommendation for our bands and artists when it comes to sales. recordJet and, in particular, Jorin have their heart in the right place and for the team, the artists are of primary importance.
