Publish a DJ Mix Show on Apple Music – now via recordJet First Class
Big news for DJs: recordJet is the official mix supplier for Apple Music DJ Mix Shows
Big news for all DJs: DJ Mix Shows can now be officially submitted using our recordJet First Class Service and sent to Apple Music in collaboration with PLATOON for DJs, Apple Music’s official DJ Mix Show platform.
This means that your DJ Mix Shows, which until now have been hard to publish, can now be released on Apple Music – with full transparency, fair remuneration and worldwide reach. This step is a real game changer for DJs and producers – it enables you to present your studio mixes and live mixes worldwide on one of the largest streaming platforms. And you can now do it all on recordJet – provided that you meet certain technical and content requirements. But let’s start at the beginning.
What is PLATOON for DJs?
PLATOON for DJs is Apple Music’s official platform and is used to submit and manage DJ Mix Shows. Functions of the platform include checking submitted sets, processing them technically and then publishing them on Apple Music via official mix suppliers, as recordJet is now. The aim is to present DJ sets as an independent art form – with correct rights distribution, high-quality sound and editorial integration into curated pages such as Cercle, Dekmantel, Home Again and Palace Skateboards.

Tips for successful submission
- Tracks should be thematically or stylistically connected.

- State the genre clearly and accurately.
- Pay attention to metadata quality: an incorrect track list or incorrect recording data will cause delays.
- Schedule the upload with some leeway – at least two weeks before the release.
